How reliable is the SH3132 movement? Really interested in the watch, but need a bit more info on the movement. Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk Is anyone aware of the differences between a BP factory Rolex explorer and an ARF factory? They have the same Asia 3132 movement and are priced around 0 apart on theonewatches? Is the ARF worth the extra 0?

Hey guys, I’m having continued issues with my Explorer 1 (bought m2m) on SH3132 even after I had this serviced. I’ve got a tiny experience in tear downs, still working and learning, and will open up the Explorer 1 to see what’s up, but thought I’d post some Timegrapher stats to see if some learne. SH3132 is a clone and can take gen parts - it is only more reliable if you swap out the reversing wheels - assume the A3132 is decorated so can’t take gen parts but no experience at this point! The Rolex Explorer is in many ways the quintessential dressy tool watch from Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual collection — less flashy than the GMT-Master, less bulky than the Submariner, while still rooted, like those two models, in a history of adventure and discovery. Trying to swap a BP a3132 dial into an ARF sh3132 movement. Will these directly fit? (Also, how much should a BP dial cost from a TD?)
For the first time in the more than 50-year history of the Rolex Explorer, the Crown's simplest and most discreet stainless steel sport watch, known for bridging tool-watch toughness and dress watch dimensions, tipped the 36mm scale and sized the Explorer up to a 39mm case. Thinking about picking up an arf explorer 1 but I'm concernee about the movement. Any owners with experience with the watch? Sent from my SM-A520W using.
