I'm just pointing out that it is much easier to perfectly replicate a machine made from start to finish Rolex cheaply than it is to replicate a spring drive with hand polishing. For every beautiful omega Speedmaster, there’s 500 ugly ones. For every beautiful GS snowflake, there’s 500 20mm thick 3-handers with ugly color schemes. Rolex just doesn’t miss and other brands seem to be tripping over themselves at every turn. Haters only hate those who’re right above them, that’s why Rolex is the target. If they ever manage to get a few Rolexes, they’ll start hating those with APs. The haters don’t hate on Lange because they don’t actually appreciate or want Lange watches, they just think pretending to like Lange will make them appear sophisticated.
