The band thats on the watch now was a replacement. For those older vintage Seamasters, I'd make sure to pick a strap that's 3mm thin or less--I've got mine on a 2mm strap and it's just right. The ref. 1039 bracelet is no longer viable (most of the caterpillar links are broken) The clasp and 516 ends are in good condition. Trying to figure out if it is a ref 145.012 or 145.022. I am sure that Omega sell them, and I hopefully won’t need one for a good while yet, but are there any decent versions made by . On the Vintage Constellations, there were generally 18mm (some were 19mm) tapering to 16mm buckles. A 14mm buckle would have been used for some of the smaller (boys size - 30 to 32mm) and/or very thin Omega models, not Constellations. I feel your pain on the tapered straps. I have a older LeCoultre that has 19mm lugs tapering down to a 13mm .
